Unexpected

Every Wednesday morning at 6am, you'll find a group of men sitting around drinking coffee and eating delicious food.  I've come to expect that.

At about 6:30am, you'll find one guy speak up and lead a discussion about God, family, and being a man.  I've come to expect that too.

This morning, something happened that I didn't expect.  Now, don't get me wrong.  At GGG we go deep, but this morning I was simply struck at the healing, hope, and reconciliation that the Holy Spirit did.

At the end of a rousing morning of sharing, prayer, and emotional breakthrough, one man shared "This is the only group of men in my entire live that I have ever opened up to.  I've shared things with you that I haven't told my wife.  I am so thankful for this group of men."

God is good.  He take the ordinary and makes them extraordinary.

I should have expected that.
