“Amazing Race” and “Minute-to-Win-It” are great television
shows to watch…that is until the shows collide, and middle school kids begin to
replicate them in a small bowling alley on the OSU campus then, IT’S EPIC!
Imagine 65 Middle School Students running around a small bowling
alley/billiards arena trying to accomplish tasks like “pass the orange” or
“build a 5 foot pyramid” with hundreds of plastic party cups! It’s absolute
chaos! And chaos is exactly what we want
when it comes to helping prepare kids’ hearts to hear about Jesus at the end of
the night. We believe that meeting kids in their world, using humor, and
creating a sense of adventure and excitement truly can prepare kids hearts to
hear about the amazing opportunity we have to be in a real relationship with
the God of the universe. At the end of this particular crazy night, one our
volunteer leaders, Conner, shared about the resurrection and how Jesus is ALIVE
and wants a REAL relationship with YOU. It was amazing! Check out some
pictures:
